This policy explains what information BonusMadness handles when you use the site. The short version: you don’t need an account, we run no advertising trackers, and analytics cookies are set only if you agree to them. The details are below.

Who we are

BonusMadness (bonusmadness.com) is a casino bonus comparison site for adults, with an international section and country sections for Canada, Finland, Ireland and Austria. The site is operated by BonusMadness.com, which is responsible for the information described here. You can reach us through our contact page.

What we collect

Your approximate country. When a page loads, the site asks our hosting provider’s network edge which country your connection comes from, so it can point you to your country’s section, show amounts in your currency, and hide offers in Canadian provinces that run their own regulated market. The country code is kept in your browser’s session storage until you close the tab, so it isn’t looked up on every page. We don’t store it on our side, and it is never combined with anything that identifies you.

Server logs. Like every website, our hosting provider processes technical data to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse: your IP address, the page requested, the time, and your browser’s user agent. This data is handled by the hosting provider under its own terms, used for security and delivery only, and not used by us to identify or profile you.

Analytics, only with your consent. If you click Accept in the cookie banner, we load Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages and offers are used: the pages you view, the site section (international or a country), which casino button you click, your approximate location, device and browser type, and how you arrived. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (named _ga and _ga_ followed by an identifier) that last up to two years. Google acts as our processor for this data and may process it outside the European Union under its standard contractual clauses. We don’t use it for advertising and don’t combine it with anything that identifies you. If you click Reject, or make no choice, none of this loads. Your choice is kept in your browser’s local storage, and you can change it any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.

Messages you send us. If you contact us, we receive what you choose to send, such as your email address and your message, and use it only to reply and to check any correction you report.

What we don’t collect

  • No account, sign-up or login.
  • No cookies unless you accept analytics.
  • No advertising trackers or social media pixels.
  • No payment details. We never handle deposits or withdrawals.

Buttons that take you to a casino go through a short redirect on our site (an address starting with /go/) and then to the casino or its affiliate programme. From that point you are on their website, and their privacy policy applies. Casinos and affiliate programmes typically use cookies or tracking parameters to record that you arrived from BonusMadness, which is how our commission is calculated. We receive reports about sign-ups and activity from those programmes, but not your name, contact details or payment information. See our affiliate disclosure for how commission works.

Links to regulators, helplines and payment providers take you to their own websites, which have their own privacy policies.

How long we keep information

The country code in your browser is cleared when you close the tab. Analytics data is kept in Google Analytics for 14 months and then deleted automatically; the cookies themselves expire after up to two years or when you clear them. Messages you send us are kept only as long as needed to deal with them and any follow-up. Server logs are kept by the hosting provider for the periods set out in its own policies.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. In the European Union, including Finland, Ireland and Austria, these rights come from the General Data Protection Regulation. In Canada, the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act sets out how businesses handle personal information. To make a request, contact us. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.

Children

BonusMadness is for adults aged 18 and over, and 19 and over in our Canada section. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under the legal gambling age where they live.

Changes

If we change how the site handles information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
