⚡ The quick take - An odds boost lifts the price on a named bet, often past fair value, on a capped stake.
- A parlay boost adds a percentage to a winning parlay's profit; it pays only on slips that land.
- Boosts shrink the edge on parlays but rarely remove it: a 20% boost on 4 legs still leaves about 1.6%.
- Bonus bets and boosts don't always mix; bet365's bonus bets can't go on boosted odds.
How boosts work
Odds boosts raise the price on a specific bet. Worked example, illustrative: a coin-flip market priced 2.00 with a 4.55% margin returns about 95.45 cents per dollar on average. Boosted to 2.20, the same bet returns about C$1.05 per dollar. On a C$25 maximum stake, that’s about C$2.39 of average value. Real, but small.
Parlay boosts add a percentage to the profit of a winning parlay. They help only on slips that land, and they come with a minimum number of legs and minimum odds per leg.

Computed by BonusMadness: legs at -110 on true 50% outcomes, hit rate 6.25%. Illustrative boost.
The boost takes most of the edge away on this slip, but not all of it, and the slip still lands about one time in sixteen. Longer parlays start with a bigger edge, as our parlay guide shows, so their boosts need to be bigger too.
The boosts we track
- Stake runs standing boosted odds on NHL, NFL, NBA, MLB and soccer markets. Stake had no sports welcome offer on its own promotions page when we checked, so boosts and its in-play refund promos are its sports offers.
- 20Bet runs a combo boost that grows with the number of legs, from short accumulators up to very long multis.
- Sports Interaction runs a parlay boost on multi-leg parlays (low-confidence source).
- LeoVegas runs regular Leo Boosts and profit boosts on prices (low-confidence source).
- Oxibet lists a parlay boost on long accumulators. Oxibet holds an Anjouan licence we couldn’t check on any register, and the Comoros central bank disputed that regime in October 2026.
⚠️ What to check
- Maximum stake: it caps the value of an odds boost.
- Minimum legs and odds per leg on parlay boosts.
- Paid as cash or bonus funds: boosted winnings paid as bonus funds may carry a rollover.
- Settlement rules: a pushed or void leg can drop a parlay below the boost’s minimum legs.
🍁 Canada notes
Boosts are a reason to choose one price over another, not a reason to add legs. Offers are for players aged 19 or over outside Ontario and Alberta, at books licensed outside Canada; see the sportsbook list. Run any slip through the parlay calculator, compare with free bets, read the sports bonuses guide, and see our responsible gambling page for every provincial helpline.
FAQ
What is an odds boost?
A better price than usual on a named bet, such as a team to win at 2.20 instead of 2.00. Boosts usually carry a low maximum stake. On a fairly priced market, a decent boost can turn a bet with a small negative average return into a small positive one.
What is a parlay boost?
Extra winnings on a parlay that lands, usually a percentage of the profit that grows with the number of legs. It needs a minimum number of legs and minimum odds per leg, and pays nothing on the many slips that miss.
Does a parlay boost make parlays good value?
It improves them, but usually doesn't make them positive. On four -110 legs, a 20% profit boost cuts the built-in edge from about 17% to about 1.6% in our worked example. Longer parlays need bigger boosts just to get close.
Can I use free bets on boosted odds?
It depends on the book. bet365's terms say its bonus bets can't be used on boosted odds. Other books allow it on some boosts. The boost's own terms say which.
Are these boosts available in Ontario or Alberta?
No. They're for players aged 19 or over outside Ontario and Alberta, which run their own regulated markets.
